State Classified Salary Increase for FY19

Fiscal Year 2019 salary adjustments for Classified Staff consist of an Across the Board salary adjustment only.

The ‘Across the Board’ adjustment of 3% base salary increase up to the new revised range maximum for all classified employees hired prior to July 1, 2018. Individuals whose base pay reaches the new range maximum without receiving the full 3% in base-building will receive the difference as a one-time, non-base building payment.

We have published the current compensation plan (FY19) divided into quartiles to align with the merit pay model. You can view the plan by title and quartile on the State Classified Classification and Compensation page.

The pay ranges for all job classes will be adjusted upward 2% for FY19. If an employee’s salary is below the new pay range minimum after receiving the FY19 salary increase, the individual’s pay will be increased to the new minimum.
