HR System Login Assistance

The HR system has been upgraded as of September 19, 2016, and there are two important changes affecting access that regular system users in particular should be aware of. First, Internet Explorer users will likely need to change their security settings. This consists of removing all websites from the Compatibility View Settings list and enabling TLS 1.2 both in the browser and in Java. Please see instructions on making these changes at:

Second, this upgrade includes a change to the login process affecting all users of the HR system, including employees using Employee Self-Service (ESS) only. The Administrative Applications and Resources (AAR) webpage will continue to be the portal for HR system access; however, the login screen will be different. Authorized users will continue to use the same User Name (their eName) but will need to establish a new password specific to the HR system. This password will be separate from a person's EID password used to access email and other administrative applications such as Aries and KFS. In the meantime, Information Systems will be exploring ways to reestablish single sign-on for HR via other methods and will be updating you as developments in that area occur.
