TimeClock Plus - Entry and Approval Deadlines

It is important that all employees, supervisors, and department HR staff adhere to these dates and complete their tasks on time. All of an employee’s time and leave entries must be entered and approved for any of that employee’s entries to be processed by the payroll system for that pay period.

All deadlines are midnight of the date listed unless otherwise noted.

Monthly Payroll Deadlines

  • November 5 - all leave and non-exempt salaried time entries must be requested/entered for October
  • November 10 - all time and leave entries for October must be approved by a supervisor
  • November 10 - all special leave types, excess regular hours, overtime/compensatory time changes, and final approvals for October must be processed by the Department HR role in each department
  • December 5 - all leave and non-exempt salaried time entries must be requested/entered for November
  • December 10 - all time and leave entries for November must be approved by a supervisor
  • December 10 - all special leave types, excess regular hours, overtime/compensatory time changes, and final approvals for November must be processed by the Department HR role in each department

Bi-Weekly Payroll Deadlines

  • October 31 - all time and leave must be entered and approved for the October 14 through October 27 pay period
  • November 13 - all time and leave must be entered and approved for the October 28 through November 10 pay period
  • November 28 - all time and leave must be entered and approved for the November 11 through November 24 pay period
  • December 12 - all time and leave must be entered and approved for the November 25 through December 8 pay period
  • December 28 at 2:00pm - all time and leave must be entered and approved for the December 9 through December 22 pay period
